Wife’s Gripes — A Lesson in Trust

I confess that I am often the one at fault.
Yet even in my mistakes, God shows me where His words must live — in my reactions, in my patience, and in my love.

I have learned that faith isn’t tested only by great trials but in the smallest irritations of life — like when my wife panics while I drive.
Each reaction reveals whether my trust is in God or in my emotions.

When doubt enters, trust leaves.
When fear rises, faith is tested.
But when love endures, God reigns.

Even Jesus expressed righteous anger — but His anger led to truth, not harm.
If we are to repent, we must truly change. Excuses like “I’m only human” delay transformation.

Small disagreements in marriage are not small to God.
They are lessons — moments where the enemy seeks to divide and where grace seeks to unite.

So I ask myself:
If Jesus were the one driving, would my wife still fear?
And if Christ is within me, shouldn’t she see Him there?

To love my wife is to allow Christ to steer my reactions.
To trust her is to trust God working in both of us.

Lord, help me remember that I am not behind the wheel alone.
You are always there — guiding, correcting, and teaching me to drive by faith, not by sight.

“Be slow to anger and rich in kindness.” — James 1:19
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart.” — Proverbs 3:5
