EASY WAY- Not quite The Truth and the Reality
Introduction
A Christian reflection on truth rooted in faith, scripture, and daily life. Explore spiritual clarity, peace, and guidance through Jesus Christ.
Yes, we all want the easy way in life.
Easy money. Easy jobs. Easy relationships. Easy living.
We want to walk through life without pain, conflict, or effort — but that desire for EASY is often the very thing that causes us to stumble.
Sometimes we hear “It’s easy!” and rush headfirst into something, only to fall flat on our faces. Other times, when the path gets hard, we give up.
We want easy marriages — full of peace, agreement, and pleasure — but when things get hard, we walk away.
We want an easy life, but the truth is… life is not easy.
The Truth vs. The Reality
There’s a great difference between Truth and Reality.
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
— John 8:32 (KJV)
Jesus also said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6 (KJV)
Truth is eternal — it is Jesus Christ Himself.
Reality, on the other hand, is what we live here on Earth — temporary, fragile, and fleeting.
When our life here ends, earthly reality ends with it.
But the Truth — Jesus Christ — endures forever.
So, yes, life may not be easy, but when we hold to the Truth, we find peace that goes beyond all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Faith Makes the Hard Things Easy
Faith is our response to the Truth.
It’s not just believing that God exists — it’s trusting Him even when reality gets rough.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
Our free will gives us the choice:
We can either trust God and follow His way — or rely on our own way and struggle in the dark.
So, do we still want EASY?
Then let’s walk the Jesus Way, because what’s impossible for man becomes possible with God (Luke 18:27).
The JESUS Way to Make Life Easy
When we follow His promises, life may still have struggles, but it becomes lighter — because His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).
Here’s how to make life “EASY” — Eternal Assurance Secured in You through Christ:
- “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” John 14:6
There’s only one way to the Father — Jesus. Keep this truth at the forefront of every decision. - “I am the Living Bread.” John 6:51
Feed on His Word daily, for it sustains your spirit far beyond worldly comforts. - “For God so loved the world…” John 3:16
Believe this love deeply — it’s the foundation of your worth and salvation. - “Lo, I am with you always.” Matthew 28:20
Even when life feels unbearable, remember that Jesus never leaves your side. - “In My Father’s house are many mansions.” John 14:2
This is your eternal home. Whatever you face here is temporary — Heaven is forever. - “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7
Keep asking. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. Persistence in faith opens heavenly doors. - The Beatitudes — The Blueprint for True Blessing Matthew 5:3–12
These are the “laws of happiness” in God’s Kingdom — humility, mercy, purity, peace, and perseverance.
Now, Wasn’t That EASY?
When we live through Jesus, life’s hardest moments become manageable.
Not because the path itself gets smoother — but because our hearts become stronger.
The secret to an EASY life isn’t in avoiding struggles — it’s in walking with Jesus through them.
That’s the only EASY that lasts forever.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (KJV)
