šŸ‘‰ Following Jesus Isn’t Part-Time… And That’s the Problem

You say you believe in God.

But let’s slow down for a moment…

What does that actually mean in your daily life?

Because believing in God and following Jesus are not the same thing.

The Difference Most People Miss

Belief is easy.

Following is costly.

Belief sits in your thoughts.
Following shows up in your life.

You can believe in God…
and still live as if He’s not involved in anything you do.

You can say ā€œLord, Lordā€ā€¦
and still be walking your own path.

That’s not my opinion.

That’s what Jesus said.

šŸ“– Scripture Truth

ā€œNot everyone who says to me, ā€˜Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.ā€
— Matthew 7:21

That verse should stop us.

Because it means something deeper is required.

Following Jesus Is a Daily Decision

Following Jesus is not:

  • Something you do on Sundays
  • Something you remember when you’re in trouble
  • Something you visit when life gets hard

It is something you live in.

Every day.

Every decision.

Every thought.

What Does That Actually Look Like?

It looks like:

  • Thinking about God before making decisions
  • Choosing obedience over convenience
  • Letting His Word shape your reactions
  • Surrendering control instead of holding on

It means inviting God into:

  • Your work
  • Your conversations
  • Your struggles
  • Your plans

Not just the beginning of your day…

But every part of it.

The Honest Question

Is God part of your life…

or is He the center of it?

Because there’s a difference.

A big one.

šŸ“– Another Truth to Reflect On

ā€œWhoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.ā€
— Luke 9:23

Daily.

Not occasionally.
Not emotionally.
Not when it’s convenient.

Why This Matters More Than You Think

Because eternity is not based on what we said we believed…

It’s revealed by how we actually lived.

That’s not meant to scare you.

It’s meant to wake you up.

The Good News (Don’t Miss This)

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about direction.

God is not asking you to be flawless.

He’s asking you to follow Him.

Step by step.
Moment by moment.
Day by day.

A Simple Shift That Changes Everything

Before anything you do today…

Pause.

And ask:

ā€œGod, be part of this.ā€

Then don’t forget Him halfway through.

Stay aware.

Stay connected.

Stay surrendered.

šŸ™ Closing Reflection / Prayer

Lord,
I don’t want to just believe in You…
I want to follow You.

Not part-time.
Not occasionally.
But fully.

Help me to invite You into every part of my life.
My thoughts, my choices, my actions.

Teach me to walk with You daily.
Not just in words… but in truth.

Amen.

šŸ‘‰ If This Spoke to You

Take a moment and reflect.

And if you’re ready…
