“You ignored God… now listen carefully.”

There are moments in life when the truth is not hidden — it’s just ignored.

Not because we don’t hear it…
But because we don’t want to follow it.

We sense it deep inside — that quiet conviction, that gentle warning, that inner voice telling us to stop, turn, or let go. Yet we push forward anyway, believing we know better… or hoping the consequences won’t come.

But God’s wisdom is not something we can ignore without cost.

📖 Proverbs 1:25–33 (KJV)

“But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind;
when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer;
they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,
and be filled with their own devices.

For the turning away of the simple shall slay them,
and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely,
and shall be quiet from fear of evil.”

💭 What This Means for Us

This passage isn’t about punishment — it’s about consequence.

God gives wisdom freely.
He warns, guides, and corrects.

But when we consistently reject that guidance, we begin walking a path shaped by our own decisions — and eventually, we experience the results of those choices.

It’s not that God stops caring.
It’s that we chose not to listen.

And over time… the silence we feel is often the echo of our own resistance.

Not because God wants harm for us…
But because we stepped outside His protection.
