The Tentmaker’s Heart: Finding Balance Between Ministry and Provision
Life is often a blend of the spiritual and the practical. While my heart is most at home writing devotionals and sharing what God is doing in my life, there is also the reality of “keeping the lights on.”
I’ve often thought about the Apostle Paul. He was a powerful voice for the Gospel, but he was also a tentmaker. He used his hands and his skills to support his ministry so he could continue to share his message freely.
Lately, I’ve been doing a bit of “tentmaking” myself.
I’ve put together a resource called “A Practical Step-By-Step Manual for Building Sustainable Digital Income.” It isn’t a devotional, but it is a tool born out of the same discipline and stewardship I try to bring to my walk with God. It’s designed to help others navigate the digital world to find ways to support their own families and missions.
By supporting this part of my work, you are directly helping me keep Gripes n Grinds n God Talks running and allowing me to spend more time creating the 7-day devotionals and spiritual guides that we all love to dive into together.
If you’ve ever felt the tug to create a little extra “provision” for your own journey, I’d love for you to check it out.
