✝️ Forgiveness and Kindness: Living the Way of Jesus
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
— Luke 23:34
🌿 Introduction
Forgiveness and kindness are not just attitudes or personality traits —
they are a way of life.
Yet, we all know how hard they are to practice.
The truth is, we cannot truly forgive or be kind without Jesus Christ.
“Nothing is impossible with God.”
(Luke 1:37)
Through Jesus, forgiveness becomes not only possible — but natural.
It becomes the reflection of God’s love flowing through us.
💖 The Heart of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is more than an action;
it’s a state of heart wrapped in love, mercy, and kindness.
God forgives because He is forgiveness itself.
He forgives because He is kind.
We humans, driven by free will, often choose self-interest over compassion.
We defend our pride, protect our pain, and postpone mercy.
But when we surrender to Jesus, we learn how to love and forgive as He did.
“Thy will be done.”
🙌 Through Jesus, Forgiveness Becomes Possible
Without Jesus, forgiveness feels impossible.
With Him, it becomes freedom.
“Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest…
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
— Matthew 11:28–30
When we walk with Him, forgiveness becomes lighter.
When we trust Him, kindness becomes second nature.
Kindness, too, is a divine gift.
It cannot exist unless it’s first received from God.
Recognizing His kindness toward us awakens kindness toward others.
Because God’s kindness made our forgiveness possible.
🌺 Living in Kindness and Forgiveness
Let us strive to be rich in kindness by following God’s example.
Let us train our minds and hearts to respond with forgiveness first.
The road is long, the journey often rough,
but one step at a time — with Jesus — brings us closer to peace.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23
And yet, through Christ, we rise again and again in His mercy.
I invite you to walk with me through the doors where forgiveness and kindness always lie behind.
💫 A Call to Love
God’s Word tells us that He is pleased with those who promote His will —
those who spread love, mercy, and understanding.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
And love your neighbor as yourself.”
— Matthew 22:37–39
Now is the time to embrace this truth —
to live obediently in love and to move together toward where God is.
May the love of Jesus be the force that drives our everyday lives,
so that we may arrive at the place where He wants us all to go.
✨ Closing Blessing
Peace of Jesus be with you all.
Walk in forgiveness.
Live in kindness.
Shine in love.
