The Wheel That Is Life

If life is like a wheel, then, like a wheel, it must forever continue to turn.
For every side to have its ups and downs, it must keep moving — always turning toward the right direction.
The wheel’s motion is necessary, for without it, progress stops, and purpose fades.

Confucius once said, “Nothing very, very bad or very, very good lasts for very, very long.”
The truth of life is just that — everything has its season. Joy and sorrow, success and struggle, laughter and tears — all take their turn on the great wheel of life.

The Bible teaches the same eternal rhythm:

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

And again,

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
(Psalm 30:5)

When we accept that life will always contain both sunlight and shadow, we begin to live with peace.
Faith gives us the balance to ride through the rough roads, trusting that the same wheel that takes us down will lift us up again in due time.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
(Romans 8:28)

So, expect life to have its ups and downs — and avoid being surprised when the turn comes.
For every valley has its mountaintop, and every storm passes to make way for calm seas.
The wheel must turn so that the journey can be complete.

Reflection

Let your heart stay steady while life turns its wheel.
Hold on to God through every rotation — in joy and in pain — knowing that His hand keeps the axle firm.
Because with God as the center, your wheel will never break, and your direction will always remain true.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”

(Proverbs 3:5-6)
