Wife’s Impossibility
Today, I ask God to help me with the impossible.
Because I know that our God is the God of the impossible — the One who spoke the world into being, who parted the Red Sea, who raised the dead, and who can still calm every storm within our homes and hearts.
Sometimes, what feels impossible isn’t a mountain outside of us, but a mountain standing right beside us — or even within us.
My wife often asks for my opinion, but when I give it, she seems to think that my suggestions are always wrong — or, to her, impossible.
It seems possible for me to express what’s on my mind, but impossible for her to see that there could be any right in it.
At times like this, I lift my eyes toward heaven and say:
“Lord, please help me with this impossibility!”
Let Your Holy Spirit cover my wife with patience and understanding, and grant me the grace to respond in love, not pride.
Let Your divine wisdom shine through both of us, so that what seems impossible to man may be made possible through You.
Because Your Word reminds us:
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
— Matthew 19:26
And also:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5-6
So today, I surrender every “impossible” thought, feeling, and situation into God’s hands —
believing that when love, humility, and prayer meet, miracles begin to happen.
