Lift Your Eyes Forward
“Since you have been raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Think of what is above, not of what is on earth.”
— Colossians 3:1–2
Life will always bring its share of gripes and grinds—frustrations, disappointments, unanswered questions, and heavy days. This page was originally created as a place to share those burdens anonymously, because being heard matters.
But as time went on, a deeper truth became clearer: while we can acknowledge what hurts, real healing and lasting hope are not found by living in the pain. The struggles of this world are temporary—but what lies ahead is eternal.
So this space is now dedicated to gently shifting our focus forward—toward God’s promises, Christ’s comfort, and the Kingdom that does not fade.
Instead of staying stuck in the problem, we learn to lean into the Solution—Jesus Christ.
Thinking About Heaven Like a Destination
When people plan a vacation, they research the destination: what it’s like, what to expect, where to go, and how to prepare. In a similar way, if heaven is the destination we long for, it makes sense to learn about it— to learn about God, His ways, and the hope He offers.
And the clearest place to begin is the Word God has already given us through the Holy Bible—where we come to know the heart of God, the love of Christ, and the promise of eternal life.
This Page Is Still For You
You can still share what you’re going through here. Not to remain in despair—but to bring it into the light, and to begin turning your eyes toward hope. If you’re carrying something heavy, you’re not alone.
A gentle reminder: This is a place of respect and encouragement. Share honestly, but keep it kind. No attacking, no shaming—only truth spoken with grace.
Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for being near to the brokenhearted. When life feels heavy and my thoughts feel tangled, help me to lift my eyes forward. Teach me to trust You with what I cannot fix, and to surrender what I cannot control.
Replace anxiety with Your peace, bitterness with forgiveness, and fear with faith. Lead me by Your Spirit, anchor my heart in Your Word, and remind me that my hope is not in this world— but in Your Kingdom that lasts forever.
I place my burdens in Your hands. I place my life in Your care. And I choose to follow You—today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
