Luke 2 – 4 — His Birth and the Start of Ministry

Luke 2:49

“Why were you searching for me? Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”

Luke 4:4

“It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone.’”

Luke 4:8

“It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’”

Luke 5:10

“The kingdom of God is in your midst.”

Luke 18:16–17

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Luke 18:27

“What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

Luke 21 – 23 — The End Times and the Passion

Luke 21:33

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Luke 22:19–20

“This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.
This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.”

Luke 22:42

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.”

Luke 24 — The Resurrection

Luke 24:38–39

Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

“I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.”
