🌿 Can We Agree? A Call to Live the Word
Introduction: A New Beginning in Christ
Becoming a born-again Christian isn’t just a change of belief — it’s a rebirth of the soul.
It’s awakening to the truth that Jesus is not only our Savior, but our very reason for living.
Through His Word, we are called to live differently — to walk in faith, humility, and love every single day.
So before we move forward, let’s agree on these eternal truths:
The Foundation of Our Faith
- Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
- He came to save, not to condemn.
- He died to save us from our sins.
- He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
- He is the one and only Son of God — the only path to salvation.
- If we believe in Him, we will not perish but have everlasting life.
- He sacrificed His life for you and me.
These are not just words to say — they are truths to live by.
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”
— Matthew 4:4
Living by the Word
The Holy Bible is the living Word of God — the map that leads us to eternal life.
Each time we read it, we discover not only who God is, but also who we are meant to be.
We have all sinned and fallen short of His glory, yet His mercy remains boundless.
No sin is too small or too great to need forgiveness.
That is why repentance is not an option — it’s the way home.
Through repentance, the heart is cleansed, the soul renewed, and the spirit made ready to receive God’s grace.
A Christian’s Daily Walk
As a new believer, I have made this commitment:
- To trust the Lord with all my heart, and not lean on my own understanding.
- To fear nothing, for if the Lord is with me, who can be against me?
- To share His Word, starting with those closest to me.
- To forgive as I have been forgiven.
- To yield my entire life to my Redeemer.
- To partake in His body and blood, not because I am worthy, but because I need His presence.
- To seek first His Kingdom, knowing all good things will be added unto me.
- To ask for His guidance daily, so I may avoid the snares of sin.
- To believe that nothing is impossible with God.
This is not an easy walk — but it is the only walk that leads to peace and life eternal.
When Should We Begin?
The answer is simple: Now.
We cannot wait until tomorrow to live the Christian life. Tomorrow is not promised.
Faith begins with action — and action begins today.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.
And love your neighbor as yourself.”
— Matthew 22:37–39
Let these two commandments be the anchor of your every thought and action.
Repentance, Forgiveness, and Salvation
Let us put the past where it belongs — behind us.
Let us seek forgiveness through Jesus Christ and rejoice in a new beginning.
Forgiveness opens the door to repentance, repentance leads to transformation, and transformation leads to salvation — found only in the name of Jesus.
So let us move forward in faith, leaving behind the old self and walking in the light of the new creation we are meant to be.
A Prayer for Renewal
Lord God,
Thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ,
Who died so that I might live.
Wash me clean with His blood,
Strengthen me with Your Holy Spirit,
And lead me in Your righteousness.
Help me to love, forgive, and live according to Your Word,
So that when my time comes,
I may enter the joy of eternal life with You.
Amen.
Final Reflection
Every day is an opportunity to start over with God.
The past no longer defines you; His grace does.
So rise, forgive, and move forward — for your new life has begun.
May God bless you with strength to overcome the devil’s deceit, and may His Holy Spirit be the living fire that purifies your heart.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17
